He read the signature on an email I sent him that said "Boycott Republicans" and why, and he got whizzed off and didn't talk to me for a while. Then he found out that no one besides me would work on his house, so he apologized and told me he thought that Bush was bad business but can't say so publicly for fear of rebuke. Then he asked me if I would still work on his house, and I told him I would if he would stop giving money to the Republican party, and he said he could agree to that. So, there is progress being made.
